Shapefile Request for Ramsar Site
Dear Lands Department,
I would like to request the shapefile for boundary of "Mai Po Inner Deep Bay Ramsar Site", as well as other Priority Sites for Enhanced Conservation under New Nature Conservation Policy in 2004.
Boundary of "Mai Po Marshes Nature Reserve" is available in parks layer in purchased map, however boundary of the Ramsar Site could not been found.

Further to my previous email on 15 July 2016.
The Government announced the NNCP in 2004 to better achieve the nature
conservation objectives, in particular to enhance the conservation of
ecologically important sites which are in private ownership. Under the
NNCP, 12 Priority Sites have been identified for enhanced protection. The
boundary maps of the 12 Priority Sites in pdf format are accessible via
our website:

On your request for the shapefile for the boundaries of the 12 Priority
Sites, please be advised that we have no objection to releasing the said
digital data (as attached), under the following terms and conditions:
1. The Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department (AFCD), the
copyright holder, must be acknowledged.
2. The digital data are restricted for use for one time only as per your
present application dated 6 July 2016.
3. This permission is "non-transferable" and "non-sub-licensable".
4. Copying, sale, renting, reproduction, adaptation, distribution,
dissemination, public performance, broadcasting or making available of the
digital data for commercial use is strictly prohibited.
5. No editing of the digital data is allowed.
6. The data are provided for general reference only. In case of any
discrepancy between the shapefile and the boundary maps as provided on the
AFCD website, the latter shall prevail.
7. By using all or any portion of the digital data, you are deemed to have
accepted the above terms and conditions.
