Dear Hong Kong Police Force,
I am writing in relation to my access to information (ATI) request of 21 June 2019, as has also been published here: https://accessinfo.hk/en/request/weapons...
Please be reminded that according to the Code on Access to Information, you must reply to my request within 10 calendar days. The response is now long overdue and the Police must respond to my ATI request immediately.
Further to my previous request, I would like to request for additional information regarding the Yuen Long attack on 21 July 2019 in accordance with the Code on Access to Information:
(d) There have been reports [1,2,3] suggesting that the Police may have colluded with the attackers and triad gangs in Yuen Long. Could the Police confirm or deny these allegations?
(e) Reports also suggested that the general public already had heard of rumours of the attack before 21 July 2019. What was the earliest date on which the Police had received the information that there might be an organised attack in Yuen Long MTR station?
(f) Will the Police investigate possible criminal offences committed by any police officers in relation to the Yuen Long attack, including but not limited to the offence of misconduct in public office?
I would like to remind the Police that you must reply to my request of 21 June 2019 (items a, b, c) immediately and this request (items d, e, f) within 10 calendar days.
Please provide the above information in electronic form via email and reply to this request in both Chinese and English languages.
Yours faithfully,
G. Kim
