Dear Hospital Authority,

I would be grateful if you could provide the number of minors who have received treatment by the Hospital Authority in each calendar year 2014-2018 and who are deemed Non-Eligible Persons by the Hospital Authority for the purpose of determining eligibility for subsidized care (e.g. minor children who do not (I) have a Hong Kong Identity Card, (ii) valid travel documents indicating they are within there permitted condition of stay, or (iii) proof that one or more parent satisfies either condition (i) or (ii) above).

Thank you for your Application for Access to Information dated 6 June
2019.

 

The Hospital Authority does not compile the information you requested.
According to paragraph 1.14 of the Code on Access to Information, the Code
does not oblige departments to create a record which does not exist.
