I am writing to request an internal review of Legal Aid Department's
handling of my FOI request 'Adjournments in legal aid appeals for JR of
the TCAB’s decisions'.
We were informed by the Legal Aid Department that it does not maintain the
requested information and is, therefore, unable to provide us with such
information. We are of the view that the requested information ought to be
kept as a matter of good administration.
Could you please review our request and provide the requested information?
If not, we would be grateful if you could:
• provide the reasons why the Legal Aid Department does not maintain the
requested statistics; and
• let us know where we can obtain the requested information.
